The LGBTQ Center is staffed Monday through Friday by student volunteers. Volunteers work to maintain the Center and answer inquiries. Volunteers also ensure that the space consistently complies with COVID-19 safety practices.
Every year, student interns work with the Program Coordinator for LGBTQ Student Services and help run some of the major functions of the LGBTQ Center. The internship positions include:

- Programs Intern

UVA LGBTQ+ Organizations
HISE - Hoos for Inclusive Sexual Education - HISE is a group of students advocating for LGBTQIA+ sexual education in public school systems on the local, state, and federal level.
oSTEM at Virginia: oSTEM's purpose is to empower and celebrate LGBTQ+ STEM majors at the University of Virginia through professional and social programs and initiatives.
The Q* Anthology of Queer Culture: Q* is a student-run, annual literary magazine and online platform that publishes fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual art related to LGBTQ (or queer) culture at the University of Virginia.
Queer Grads: A social group for LGBTQ+ graduate students at the University of Virginia. Each semester, we organize several social events, all of which are open to members as well as friends, significant others, and allies.
